The Road Less Travelled; Making a Difference

    By Life-Musings.com | December 26, 2008

Are you a vegetarian for health, environmental and / or humanitarian reasons?

Do you believe and / or fight for the rights of animals, our fellow owners and heirs of planet Earth?

Do you shun the consumerism which is enveloping so many developed and developing countries?

Do you believe in a power far greater than anything we can see or touch, which is the source of all creation, order and, most importantly, love, and which is beyond and bigger than any humanly doctrine or institution?

Do you accord your fellow human beings with respect and kindness, regarding of skin color, social status, wealth, health, gender, or any other obvious or subtle differences, and fight for the rights of the oppressed and marginalized?

Do you feed the hungry, clothe the naked, comfort the afflicted, house the homeless, and embrace the lonely?

Do you seek a deeper meaning and fulfillment in life, and place that above your empty desires and pursuits on the material plane?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, I salute you for journeying on the road less traveled. It is tough, and no doubt you face many obstacles. May you find strength in your chosen vocation(s).
