Man - So Different, Yet So Similar

Every single human being is pretty much unique.
We look different - varying skin colours, face shapes, heights, and other physical attributes.
We smell different, and we have different voices.
Yet, deep within the human mind, the human psyche, the human condition, are we that different?
Despite outward differences in beliefs, inclinations, interests and other manifestations, deep within the human soul, how different are we, really?
Not very, I suspect.
There are many possible similarities which can easily connect one man to another. The need for love as well as the need for hope, perhaps being two poignant ones.
Man. So different, yet so similar.
